Turkey Hunts
Spring hunts in southern Indiana are accompanied with beautiful scenery. Flowering Dogwoods and Redbuds decorate the landscape along rolling lush green hillsides. A hunter may even find a batch of tasty morels to go along with his turkey dinner. The birds are quite plentiful on most of our properties with mature Toms averaging 24 – 26 pounds.
All turkey hunting is guided. Hunters may call their own birds and use their own decoys if they wish. Be prepared for moderate hiking and definitely bring gear suited for possible wet weather. All ATV travel is restricted to established roadways.
The terrain will vary from River and Creek bottomland to moderately steep hillsides. The steeper terrain will require hunters to be in fairly good condition.
