1. Where will I be staying?
All guests are placed in a clean motel as close to the hunting site as possible.
2. Do you furnish meals?
Backwater Outlaws does not provide meals at this time. Please be sure to pack sufficient drinks and snacks to hold you over during the day. Rest assured, there are plenty of restaurants near your lodging.
3. Where do I purchase my license or tag?
All licenses may be purchased online at the following web link for the Indiana Outdoor Licensing System or over-the-counter at many sporting goods dealers.
4. Who will be my guide?
Our team is staffed with several guides each specializing in a particular specie. We will have your specific guide contact you within a couple weeks prior to the hunt.
5. Where is the nearest major Airport?
Indianapolis International Airport is the closest followed by Louiville International Airport.
6. What type of stands will I be hunting from?
Over 90 percent of our stands are single man ladder stands or lock-on stands. By request, guests may choose to hunt from our "Double Bull" ground blinds.
7. Can I check the sights of my gun or bow at your facility?
Yes, we have plenty of room for anyone to check the sights of either their gun or bow. We encourage everyone to practice and shoot their weapons prior to visiting us. However, it is a good idea to double check that sights were not misaligned during transport. Just give us ample notice so that we may arrange the targets prior to your arrival.
8. Can I take more than one deer?
Yes, additional doe permits are available at a very reasonable price. Extra tags for antlerless deer may be purchased from the Indiana DNR site. 9. Do you process the meat at your facility?

Cold storage and general processing of deer will be provided by the outfitter. Backwater Outlaws is also a proud supporter of Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH).

All unwanted game will be donated to those in need.

10. Will someone be there to help me with the deer once it is harvested?
In general, each hunter is responsible for the transportation of his game from the field. If special arrangements are made, or if a disability inhibits the client from taking their game from the field, we will be happy to assist the hunter with his deer. Please be sure to make these arrangements in advance.
11. Can you suggest a taxidermist?
