Backwater Outlaws LLC is an outfitting organization that provides professionally guided hunts for deer, turkey, dove and waterfowl. We are dedicated to the enhancement of hunting grounds through proper management, conservation, and education. Backwater Outlaws is also a proud supporter of youth hunting activities. We feel privileged to offer special programs which introduce the sport of hunting to tomorrow’s outdoorsman. Our professional staff is comprised of competent key individuals including a wildlife biologist, NRA certified instructor and a previously certified EMT. Each has had a significant impact on our success. Their dedication and contributions have set us apart from others in the business. At Backwater Outlaws, no one is more safety conscious than our team. We have an official certified NRA instructor on staff and all of our clients receive a thorough gun safety orientation presentation prior to each hunting event.

Paul Anderson, President of Backwater Outlaws, LLC is a long term resident of Bloomington, Indiana. He attended the University of Wyoming and received a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Management.

He spent 4 years working for the Mining Industry in southwest Wyoming before returning home to the Hoosier state. During the past 10 years, he has worked as a lab analyst in the medical device field. It has been his lifelong dream, along with many members of his team, to work with wildlife and preserve the quality of hunting for tomorrow’s generation.
